WHAT FACILITIES ARE THERE at the sauna?

At our sauna site we have a bell tent that we use as a changing space and a dry space for you to leave belongings. Alongside our British cedar clad sauna we have a chilled and filtered cold plunge in the form of a bath tub, and a cold shower, as well as drinking water. Toilets are located by the cafe.

SAUNA ETIQUETTE AND RULES?

Our sauna is all about deepening connection, to yourself, your environment and your community. We love how saunas ask us to tune into our bodies and for that reason we don’t have a timer inside our sauna, encouraging you to listen to your body.

We love loÿly (steam) and encourage our users to help themselves to pouring steam over the rocks, however too much water ends up cooling down the stove so take it easy. Steam can be wonderful but some users might find it more intense so please ask your fellow sauna goers if everyone is happy with steam.

We ask that everybody stay clothed (from the bottom down) when in the sauna, whether thats with a swimsuit, towel or light clothing.

We understand the need for a quick plunge as soon as you come out of the sauna but please always make sure to shower before you get into the cold plunge to help make it stay cleaner for others.

Meeting and making friends in the sauna is a big benefit of this community centred activity however please always be mindful and considerate to others who may want a more peaceful and inward experience.

Can children come?

Unfortunately due to our insurance children under the age of 12 are unable to use our sauna and children under the age of 16 must be accompanied with an adult.
